Shipping Costs

Your shipping costs will vary depending on the value of your order. Bar Harbor Tea Company will select the carrier, either U.S. Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS).

Notes:

• Please allow 10-14 business days for orders shipping standard to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
• Some items require an additional shipping charge due to size, weight, or quantity ordered. These charges will usually be reflected on your order total during checkout.
• We offer free standard shipping for gift certificates mailed to US zip codes.  
• We do not backorder out of stock items.

Standard Shipping

UPS Ground and US Mail (USPS)

Standard delivery rates - For each order received, we will choose best method of shipping via either US Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS). For most orders, please allow 2-4 business days to process the order and an additional 3 to 6 business days for delivery. Weekends and holidays will delay shipment. Some restrictions apply - see below. Shipping and handling charges are subject to change without notice. Please remember that UPS can not ship to PO Boxes. A valid street address is required if you select any UPS shipping options.

Express Options: Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air and 3rd Day Air

Express service is available through UPS and is available at time of checkout. A valid street address is required; no PO Boxes.

• Note: Orders must be received by 9:00am EST Monday-Friday to ship same day. Orders received after 9:00am may ship next business day.
• UPS does not offer service in Bar Harbor on weekends. No Sunday or holiday delivery.
• Bar Harbor Tea Company cannot ship packages on days that are US national holidays. Express orders placed during a national holiday, or during the weekend of a national holiday, will not be shipped until the following business day.
